Banner Health is offering a Cardiothoracic Surgeon opportunity in the West Valley Phoenix metro area. This role supports Banner Boswell and Banner Thunderbird Cardiovascular Centers of Excellence in a high-volume, technology-enabled practice.

The ideal candidate is BE/BC in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery with 3+ years post fellowship, AZ license/DEA, and participates in a 1:4 call rotation. Clinic and OR schedules are defined to balance patient care with teamwork.

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery required.
• Completion of accredited Cardiothoracic fellowship required.
• Experience: 3+ years post fellowship.
• Current AZ license/DEA or ability to obtain.
• Call: 1:4 shared call rotation (minimum 7 shifts per month).
• Clinic: 1 day per week; OR: 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a cohesive cardiothoracic surgical team in a high-volume practice.
• Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers in clinic, hospital and OR settings.
• Utilize advanced imaging and surgical technologies.
• Join Banner Health's cardiovascular network across the Phoenix metro area.
