Job summary

Banner Health is looking for a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our expanding team in the East Valley Phoenix Metro area. This role involves collaboration with specialists and access to advanced surgical technologies in a high-volume practice.

Qualifications

• Must be a board-certified thoracic and cardiac surgeon.
• Should have completed a cardiothoracic fellowship program.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience post fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Participate in shared call rotation with a minimum of 7 shifts.
• Collaborate with fellow surgeons and Advanced Practice Providers.
• Conduct clinic and operational duties weekly.

Position Requirements & Details

• BE/BC in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery
• Completion of accredited Cardiothoracic fellowship
• Experience: 3+ years post fellowship
• Current AZ license/DEA or ability to obtain
• Call: 1:4 Shared call rotation (Minimum 7 shifts per month)
• Clinic: 1 day per week; OR: 4 days per week

• Well supported by Advanced Practice Providers in the clinic, hospital, and OR settings
• High volume practice with excellent support staff and cutting‑edge technology
