Job summary

The Arc of Ocean County is seeking an Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide critical residential support in Ocean County, NJ, including Brick Township and Toms River. The role requires a wake overnight shift from 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM, with both full‑time and part‑time opportunities.

Starting pay is $20.70 per hour, with earning potential up to $24.70 per hour plus applicable differentials and overtime. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license in good standing with no more than five points.
• Ability to remain awake and attentive for the entire 11:00 PM–9:00 AM shift.
• Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment during emergencies.
• Reliable, organized, and able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive overnight supervision to maintain safety and well-being.
• Perform hourly status checks and complete overnight monitoring duties.
• Respond to medical situations, emergencies, and overnight events.
• Identify safety hazards and communicate maintenance concerns.
• Maintain accurate overnight logs and documentation.
