Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist people with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in residential and community settings. You will support daily living, skills training, and decision-making while following regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies.

This role requires flexible shifts, including overnight coverage, and supervision to ensure safety and progress. Training, safety certifications, and collaboration with guardians are involved.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy to include Microsoft Word/Excel and web apps used by the agency.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people with skills training in activities of daily living.
• Create opportunities and provide support to develop independence.
• Transport and accompany people to medical, recreational, and community activities.
• Maintain daily progress notes and required documentation.
