Job summary

Open Sky Community Services seeks an Awake Overnight Counselor in Central Massachusetts to provide supervision and support during overnight hours, assist with morning routines, and promote independence and safety. You will implement health and medication protocols and coordinate transportation as needed.

The role emphasizes crisis intervention, meticulous documentation, and a trauma-informed, equity-driven approach in a community setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record, required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Utilize crisis intervention techniques and follow established program and agency procedures to respond effectively during emergency or crisis situations.
• Implement individuals' health, medical, and medication protocols in accordance with agency policies and applicable regulations.
• Assist individuals with accessing transportation and coordinating travel needs, as required.
• Review, complete, and maintain all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
