Job summary

Moody's seeks an AVP Mgr-Software Engineering (Workday) to lead enterprise Workday integration strategy and architecture across the organization. You will drive governance, oversee EIBs/Core Connectors/Workday Studio, and partner with HR, product, and senior leadership to ensure scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise systems architecture and software engineering.
• Deep Workday expertise with EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, SOAP/REST; HCM modules and data models knowledge.
• Leadership in defining Workday integration strategy and governance.
• Experience delivering complex integrations with identity management, payroll, data platforms, and SaaS apps; MuleSoft experience.
• Cloud-native and hybrid architecture experience; containerization and CI/CD exposure.
• REST API design and microservices focus; ability to guide senior teams.
• Strong executive presence and stakeholder management.
• AI expertise with responsible adoption and risk governance.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive enterprise Workday integration strategy and governance.
• Architect and oversee complex Workday integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio).
• Create architecture diagrams, integration specs, and technical workflows.
• Advise HR systems owners, product managers, and executives.
• Oversee cloud-native and hybrid integration on AWS or Azure with microservices.
• Enforce governance, security, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead design reviews, architecture boards, and performance assessments.
• Mentor senior engineers and promote technical excellence.
• Evaluate emerging technologies including AI-driven capabilities.
