Job summary

Moody's is seeking a senior enterprise systems architect to lead Workday integration strategy and enterprise-wide integrations across HCM, identity, payroll, and data platforms. You will govern standards, drive roadmaps, and mentor engineering teams while advancing cloud-native and hybrid architectures on AWS/Azure.

Key focus areas include API-driven microservices, security, data privacy, and ethical AI governance as Moody's transforms risk with AI-enabled capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise systems architecture and software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the enterprise Workday integration strategy, including governance standards, integration roadmaps, and platform architecture decisions.
• Architect and oversee the delivery of complex Workday integrations, including EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio solutions, and API-based connections to identity management, payroll, data platforms, and third-party SaaS applications.
• Lead the definition and maintenance of enterprise architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and technical workflows.
• Serve as the senior technical advisor to HR system owners, product managers, and executive stakeholders.
• Design and provide architectural oversight for cloud-native and hybrid integration solutions on AWS or Azure, applying microservices and API-driven patterns.
• Establish, champion, and enforce architectural governance, integration best practices, and coding standards across engineering teams.
• Lead design reviews, architecture boards, and performance and scalability assessments; mentor and develop senior engineering talent.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, including AI-driven capabilities, for strategic planning.
