Job summary

Vantage Group Holdings Ltd. is seeking an experienced Construction SDI Assistant VP/VP to underwrite per authority and guidelines. This remote or hybrid role reports to the Head of Construction – SDI and spans the U.S. with flexible work options.

The ideal candidate brings 3–7 years in SDI underwriting or related construction risk disciplines, plus strong communication and analytics. Expect a competitive base salary with performance-based bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
3–7 years of relevant industry experience is required.
Advanced knowledge of SDI Underwriting or Risk Engineering, Construction Operations, or Construction Risk Management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Expert skills using Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience with AI platform usage in a business setting, such as Claude or ChatGPT.
Ability to adapt to change in a rapidly growing公司 environment.

Responsibilities

Review submissions to ensure alignment with risk appetite and business strategy.
Generate new business by working with brokers and prospective SDI clients.
Be market-facing by cultivating new broker and customer relationships.
Analyze complex risks thoroughly and effectively.
Perform underwriting activities across underwriting transactions, service standards, and documentation.
Demonstrate a customer service mindset by engaging internal and external contacts.
Collaborate with internal and external contacts to meet client expectations.
Interact directly with various business partners and internal departments.
Meet departmental service standards for each process.
Perform other duties and special projects with minimal supervision.
