Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. is looking for an Assistant Vice President to oversee technical underwriting and account management of construction professional liability and contractor’s pollution liability. This role demands over ten years of relevant underwriting experience, strong broker relationships, and the ability to tailor policy wordings to meet specific risks.

The position offers a salary range of $152,970 - $206,959 per year and a comprehensive benefits package, supporting employee wellbeing and growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction professional liability and pollution liability underwriting experience.
• Experience in roles assisting with underwriting guideline development.
• Established broker relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical underwriting and account management of the construction PL and CPL book.
• Review and evaluate risk for new and renewal accounts.
• Lead efforts to expand Arch's portfolio and improve underwriting procedures.

Skills

Understanding of Contractor’s Professional Liability coverage

Experience in policy wording tailoring

Knowledge of pollution pricing and exposure identification

Cross-functional knowledge of P&C lines

Ability to influence without authority

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training

CPCU or similar designation
