State Street is hiring multiple Assistant Vice Presidents, Software Engineers to design, develop, test, and support enterprise software for Wealth Custody & Clearing. You will build backend services, APIs, and cloud‑enabled platforms supporting custody, onboarding, trading, servicing, and advisor workflows.

The role requires 7+ years of software engineering experience with Java/Kotlin/Python/JavaScript, RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and cloud delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering with increasing responsibility.
• Experience delivering business‑critical applications in Agile environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Java, Kotlin, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript or similar.
• RESTful APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and enterprise integration patterns.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise‑grade software for the Wealth Custody & Clearing platform.
• Build scalable backend services, APIs, integrations, and platform capabilities.
• Develop cloud‑enabled and API‑first solutions with secure coding practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Engineering teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering excellence.
