State Street’s Wealth Custody & Clearing team is hiring multiple Assistant Vice Presidents, Software Engineers to design, develop, test, and support modern software across a scalable wealth platform.

You will build resilient backend services, APIs, and integrations for custody, onboarding, trading, and advisor workflows, using Java, Kotlin, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript in a cloud‑enabled, API‑first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• 7+ years of software engineering, backend engineering, or application development.
• Experience delivering business‑critical applications in Agile environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Java, Kotlin, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• RESTful APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Cloud‑enabled development, CI/CD, DevOps practices, automated testing, and modern tooling.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and observability tooling.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise‑grade software for the Wealth Custody & Clearing platform.
• Build scalable backend services, APIs, integrations, and platform capabilities for custody, onboarding, trading, and servicing workflows.
• Develop cloud‑enabled and API‑first solutions with secure coding and solid design principles.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Engineering to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards and platform delivery.
