Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking an AVP Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable financial technology solutions. You will work across the full SDLC, integrating front-end interfaces with back-end services and databases to deliver robust applications.

The role requires strong collaboration, problem-solving skills, and a drive to mentor junior engineers. Applicants should have 7+ years in full-stack development and familiarity with modern front-end and back-end frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in full-stack software development.
• Experience with at least one modern front-end framework (React/Angular/Vue) and back-end frameworks (Spring Boot/.NET Core/Django/Flask).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using front-end frameworks and back-end languages.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, and other developers to define requirements and estimate effort.
• Write clean, well-documented, testable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and standards.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to process improvements and tooling.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge.
• Stay updated with emerging tech and industry trends.
