Job summary

Travelers is seeking an AVP of Small Commercial Business Analytics to set data strategy and oversee a broad analytics portfolio across cross-functional areas. You will drive modeling and experimentation to surface actionable insights and guide AI-enabled decision making across pricing, underwriting, and product analytics.

You will partner with senior leaders, define standards, and coach teams to balance constraints and opportunities while embedding AI into everyday work practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field, or a Business School Master’s Degree with a technical or analytical concentration.
• Ten years of related data and analytic experience.
• Experience with explanatory, diagnostic, and inferential techniques and choosing appropriate methods.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to inform strategic decisions.
• Define routines and standards of practice for high-quality work.
• Identify barriers and remove obstacles affecting team performance.
• Align priorities with business partners and assess capacity for initiatives.
• Provide enterprise perspective to cross-functional strategies.
• Coach the team in diagnostic and multivariate methods to influence decisions.
• Champion AI adoption and lead organizational change in analytics.
