Job summary

AmeriCU Credit Union in Rome, NY, invites an accomplished leader to serve as Vice President, Credit Solutions. This executive role shapes the strategy for collections, loss mitigation, and portfolio performance while aligning with member advocacy.

Reporting to the Chief Lending Officer, you will oversee collections, recovery, risk oversight, and digital transformation, driving automation, analytics, and AI-enabled member engagement.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in credit solutions or related financial services.
• Strong understanding of collections, loss mitigation, and risk management.
• Proven ability to lead transformation and drive operational excellence.
• Strategic mindset with ability to balance risk, compliance, and member advocacy.
• Experience leveraging data analytics and technology to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise strategies to reduce delinquency and maximize recoveries.
• Lead collections, bankruptcy, foreclosure, repossession, and post-charge-off recovery operations.
• Drive digital transformation through automation, analytics, and AI-enabled engagement.
• Partner with Lending, Risk, Operations, Digital Services, and Technology teams.
• Set performance standards and accountability for internal teams and partners.
• Deliver executive reporting and insights to support strategic decisions.
