Job summary

J29, Inc. seeks an Assistant Vice President of Programs & Delivery to serve as the VP’s operational deputy and Chief of Staff. You will translate priorities into action, manage executive decisions, and track portfolio risks across the company.

You will drive cross-functional coordination, support staffing and contract activities, and ensure delivery against commitments with executive dashboards and reporting. This senior role emphasizes collaboration and decisive execution.

Qualifications

• Progressive leadership experience in program delivery, operations, PMO, or portfolio management.
• Ability to coordinate multiple programs, leaders, and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of staffing, recruiting and performance management coordination.
• Experience preparing executive briefings, dashboards, analyses, and decision-support materials.
• Strong organizational discipline and drive for follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Translate VP priorities into clear action plans and coordinated execution.
• Drive follow-through on executive decisions and monitor commitments.
• Track milestones, risks, and dependencies across portfolios.
• Prepare briefing materials and portfolio analyses for exec meetings.
• Ensure timely, accurate information for portfolio-level decisions.
• Coordinate staffing challenges and recruitment needs with Program Directors.
