Job summary

Blackstone seeks an AVP in Miami to support Portfolio Management – Valuations and Analytics for its Private Equity Strategies. You will prepare, evaluate, analyze, and summarize portfolio valuation results and handle ad hoc analyses for portfolio monitoring.

Responsibilities include managing deliverables, developing valuation models, onboarding new investments, and supervising annual audits with external firms. You will mentor analysts and present outputs to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or similar.
• 6+ years of valuations, transaction services, private equity, or related analytics.
• Experience with ASC 820 and various valuation approaches (Income, Market, Yield).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day management: deliverable tracking, model development, and senior leadership presentations.
• Lead valuation model development and reviews per policy and guidance.
• Oversee onboarding for new portfolio investments and data collection.
• Manage annual audits with third-party valuation firms.
• Develop and present valuation results to committees and limited partners.
• Mentor analysts and associates; collaborate with Management Reporting.
