Blackstone is seeking an Associate in Private Equity Valuations & Analytics to support the Private Equity group. The role focuses on preparing, evaluating, and summarizing portfolio valuation results, and delivering related analyses for portfolio monitoring and reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in valuations or related analytical roles including private equity, consulting, or transaction services.
• Thorough understanding of ASC 820 and valuation guidance.
• Experience with multiple valuation approaches (Income, Market, Yield, OPM, PWERM).
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to interact with deal professionals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare valuation models reviews, presentations for leaders, and ad-hoc deliverables.
• Update valuation templates each quarter, including DCF, PM, and other models.
• Apply valuation methodologies in line with policy and external guidance.
• Drive onboarding for new portfolio investments and ensure data collection procedures.
• Respond to auditor inquiries and coordinate valuation reviews with third party firms.
• Drive enhancements to valuation and reporting processes, offshore resources, and technology use.
• Create and develop presentation materials to communicate results within the PE group and to Blackstone.
• Assist in presenting valuation results to internal committees, auditors, and LPs.
• Work with Private Equity Management Reporting to supply inputs for planning deliverables.
• Maintain relationships with deal professionals, Institutional Client Services, Portfolio Ops, Accounting, and Finance teams.
