Job summary

Western Alliance Bancorporation is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Portfolio Manager- SAG to analyze, structure, underwrite, and close major loans in a compliant manner. You will work with the VP Commercial Banker to manage credit risk and meet regional goals.

You will interface with clients and internal teams to gather information, present financing requests, and coordinate loan processing. A strong background in portfolio management and credit analysis is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in Portfolio Management or similar field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with commercial banking products and services is a plus.
• Understanding of regulatory obligations and compliance standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, structure, underwrite, and close major and complex loans in line with lending policies.
• Coordinate with the Vice President, Commercial Banker to monitor credit risks.
• Assist in achieving bank, region, and branch goals through underwriting and closing desirable credits.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and state/federal regulations.
