Western Alliance Bank in CityScape, Phoenix, seeks an Assistant Vice President, Portfolio Manager- SAG to analyze, structure, underwrite, and close major loans in line with lending policies. You will work with the VP Commercial Banker to manage credit risk and help achieve bank goals through underwriting and closing high‑quality credits.

The role requires 2+ years in portfolio management, a bachelor’s degree, and knowledge of banking operations, compliance, and loan structuring.

Formación

• 2+ years of related experience in Portfolio Management or similar field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of commercial credit and loan structuring, and pricing dynamics. Credit analyst training completed.
• Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze, structure, underwriting, and coordinate the closing of major and complex loans in compliance with lending policies.
• Interface with clients to assess credit needs and determine best structure for analysis.
• Gather information and present financing requests for approval.
• Coordinate processing of approved loans and ensure compliance with Bank policies.
