Job summary

Western Alliance Bancorporation seeks an Assistant Vice President, Portfolio Manager - Lender Finance in New York, NY to analyze, underwrite, and coordinate closing of large corporate loans and structured products ($25mm+).

The role requires 4+ years in Portfolio Management or similar, with strong Fixed Income, credit knowledge, and CFA progression. You will collaborate with Directors and MDs to monitor credit risks and ensure adherence to lending policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 4+ years of related experience in Portfolio Management or similar field.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Fixed Income investing.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of commercial credit and loan structuring.
• Advanced speaking, excel and writing communication skills.
• Progress toward or completion of CFA

Responsibilities

• Analyze portfolio investment performance and make buy/hold/sell recommendations.
• Prepare portfolio scorecards and suggest collateral marks.
• Coordinate processing of approved loans per agreement and bank policies.
• Handle underwriting, portfolio management, and upkeep tasks for new loan requests.
