Job summary

SCOR is hiring an AVP, Marketing Underwriter – Group Reinsurance in Minneapolis to lead market intelligence, strategy development, and expansion of the US Group Life & Accident Reinsurance operation. You will influence pricing, risk selection, and client relationships, with responsibility for underwriting support and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires senior underwriting experience, client leadership, and strong sales-driven acumen to drive growth.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years Group Life insurance / reinsurance experience in a group benefits underwriting related position.
• 3 years of experience in facilitating business decisions, demonstrating leadership of direct or indirect teams.
• Superior human relations and communication skills (oral & written).
• Negotiation / relationship management experience in B2B environments.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and improve relationships with key decision makers within targeted accounts and reinsurance brokers.
• Execute sales strategies to achieve new production sales goals and marketing plans for Group Reinsurance products.
• Provide market intelligence regarding client needs and industry trends to support product development and strategy.
• Renew and retain in-force accounts following SCOR risk guidelines.
• Ensure timely execution of client treaties and sound risk management.
