Moody's AVP - Market Data Sourcing leads enterprise-wide sourcing for Market Data and data licensing agreements, managing end-to-end supplier engagements and strategic negotiations.

You will analyze spend, craft category strategies, and coordinate with Legal, Finance, Technology, and Data Governance to align with Moody's priorities. This role emphasizes AI-driven decision making and continuous improvement within a global team.

Qualifications

• Extensive end-to-end sourcing experience for Market Data and data licensing.
• Experience negotiating complex, enterprise-scale data licensing agreements.
• Strong ability to analyze spend, drive savings and manage renewal pipelines.
• Proven stakeholder management and executive-level relationship skills.
• Proficiency in Excel/Word and data-driven decision making.
• Understanding of AI concepts and responsible AI practices in procurement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing for supplier agreements across Market Data and other Data Licensing categories.
• Analyze Market Data spend and create a Category Strategy to optimize data consumption across units.
• Create and execute strategic sourcing events (RFPs/RFIs) with key Market Data suppliers.
• Advise stakeholders on data licensing structures, usage rights, entitlements, and compliance.
• Proactively manage Market Data renewal pipeline with internal partners.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Technology, and Data Governance to align sourcing strategy.
• Build relationships with senior leaders and influence executive decisions.
• Report savings metrics to support department objectives and drive continuous improvement.
• Leverage analytics, automation, and AI to enhance sourcing efficiency.
