Job summary

Moody's is seeking an AVP to guide U.S. regulatory analysis and external stakeholder engagement, supporting the GPRA strategy across Moody's global teams.

You will track regulatory developments, prepare briefings for senior leadership, and translate complex policy into actionable insight while collaborating with Legal, Risk, and business lines.

The role emphasizes coordinating with regulators and leveraging AI-centric approaches to enhance policy impact and risk management.

Qualifications

• 5–9 years analyzing U.S. public policy, regulatory, and legal developments in financial services or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of U.S. government institutions, regulatory processes, and policymaking dynamics.
• Experience at a U.S. financial regulator or government body is preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for senior leadership.
• Ability to build relationships and drive cross-functional execution.

Responsibilities

• Guide analysts in tracking regulatory developments and prepare briefings for Moody's business.
• Assess implications of proposed regulation and translate texts into actionable analysis.
• Foster relationships with regulators and external stakeholders; attend events and report insights.
• Prepare talking points and background research for senior meetings with officials.
• Coordinate internal adoption of engagement tracking software and metrics.
• Work with global GPRA teams to align regulatory positions with strategy.
