Job summary

First Bank Chicago seeks a leader to oversee the Relationship Banking team in the Highland Park market, driving sales, client service, and retention while ensuring operational excellence across all activities. The role focuses on coaching staff, managing staffing and performance, developing client relationships, and representing the bank in community events to generate new business and deepen client trust.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of managerial experience and deep banking knowledge,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of managerial experience required.
• Minimum 5 years’ banking experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership and management oversight for Relationship Banking team in Highland Park.
• Develop, coach, mentor and motivate Relationship Bankers and staff to ensure exceptional client service and achievement of sales and operational goals.
• Oversee workforce planning including hiring, staffing, performance management, promotions, disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Implement action plans to improve quality of service and client experience.
• Address needs of existing and prospective clients; respond to inquiries and resolve feedback; proactively recommend bank solutions to meet financial objectives and sales goals.
• Develop business and build relationships with clients; participate in community activities to promote goodwill and new business.
• Oversee completion of projects related to the Relationship Banking department.
