Qualifications

• 4–8 years of Big 4 or national CPA firm experience with Hedge Fund, Private Equity Fund, or Asset Management clients.
• Experience in fund accounting and financial reporting for alternative investments.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fund accounting, financial reporting, and related finance activities across Hedge Fund and Private Equity structures.
• Review NAV calculations, financial statements, capital activity, and fund-level reporting.
• Analyze complex fund structures, investment allocations, distribution waterfalls, and performance metrics.
• Partner with senior finance leadership to provide financial analysis supporting strategic decisions.
• Prepare and present key financial metrics and fund performance to senior stakeholders.
• Review capital calls, distributions, investor allocations, and other fund transactions.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI-driven tools and automation to improve reporting and efficiency.
• Mentor junior accounting professionals and lead special cross-functional initiatives.
