American Heart Association, Inc. in Dallas/Irving seeks an Associate Vice President of Development to lead the Dallas Go Red for Women fundraising initiative, including the signature Go Red For Women Luncheon with an annual goal exceeding $2M.

Qualifications

• University/College degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in managerial roles.
• Strong track record in individual giving and corporate fundraising preferred.
• Proven ability to exceed fundraising goals and build partnerships.
• Experience recruiting, training and mentoring staff in a team setting.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate major donors and secure sponsorships.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen relationships with corporate executives, major donors, community leaders and volunteers to drive revenue growth and mission impact.
• Lead strategy, recruitment, engagement, and management of volunteer leadership and event chairs.
• Develop and execute fundraising strategies to achieve aggressive revenue goals.
• Expand partnerships with corporate and community groups; secure gifts, sponsorships and foundation support.
• Cultivate top-tier donors and sponsors through strategic relationship management.
• Provide leadership and accountability to fundraising staff to drive performance and growth.
• Partner with market leadership to align priorities and strengthen overall performance.
• Participate as part of the Dallas Senior Leadership Team and guide organizational culture.
• Lead regular team communications and performance reviews to monitor progress.
