Job summary

Unum seeks an accomplished AVP, GenAI & Agentic Data Science to lead a team of Data Scientists and GenAI Engineers across the enterprise. This is a technical leadership role overseeing GenAI, agentic AI, and AI-first digital products.

You will own strategy, influence executives, and drive cross-functional initiatives with Finance, Marketing, and Operations while scaling AI solutions with governance and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years designing and building scaled AI/ML products/capabilities.
• Experience deploying agentic AI systems into production at scale.

Responsibilities

• Provide inputs and support the advanced analytics roadmap.
• Lead AI-first digital products/offerings including GenAI and Agentic AI solutions.
• Partner with Product Managers to operationalize AI into business processes.
• Lead production Agentic AI solutions including orchestration, memory/state, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
