Job summary

Merrimack College seeks an Associate Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis (AVP, FP&A) to lead enterprise analysis of revenue, costs, and performance. This executive will forecast, model, and provide decision support to drive growth, affordability, and financial accountability across the College.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or related.
• 10+ years FP&A/strategic finance experience, preferably in higher ed or complex orgs.
• Strong modeling, forecasting, and performance reporting skills.
• Experience partnering with senior executives in a matrixed org.
• Proficiency with ERP/BI tools and AI-enabled decision support.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise analysis of revenue, costs, and operating performance.
• Develop forecasting, models, dashboards, and decision support.
• Provide actionable recommendations on growth, resource allocation, and risk.
• Partner with senior leaders and the CFO to strengthen budgeting and governance.
• Lead AI-enabled analytics and performance reviews.
