Job Title: AVP - Financial Reporting / Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Zurich North America is hiring! We are seeking a talented professional to join our team in Schaumburg, IL, or remotely. The role can be filled at either the Senior or AVP level, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

1. Complete monthly/quarterly close tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
2. Deliver management financial statements and analysis.
3. Prepare quarterly IFRS submissions to Group.
4. Handle quarterly/annual statutory filings, including separate accounts.
5. Develop knowledge of IFRS and statutory accounting principles.
6. Manage large, complex projects with innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree + 6+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance OR High School Diploma + 8+ years experience OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice + Associate Degree + 6+ years experience.
• Experience with accounting and financial reporting tools.

Additional Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12+ years with a High School Diploma.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Insurance industry or public accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills.
• CPA designation preferred.

Compensation:

The salary range is $94,100 - $154,000, with short-term incentive bonuses of 15% for the Senior Financial Reporting Analyst and 20% for the AVP role. Compensation factors include location, experience, and skills.
