Howard University seeks an Assistant Vice President for Enterprise Services and Operations to provide strategic leadership across Auxiliary Enterprises, Student Housing, and related functions. You will build and refine policies, align divisional plans with the university mission, and supervise staff to drive operational excellence.

You will oversee budgets, engage external partners, and mentor teams while fostering collaboration across divisions to deliver measurable improvements in service

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree with at least 10 years of related work experience
• Demonstrated experience as a management executive in public and non-profit institutions
• Experience with strategic planning and budget oversight
• Ability to manage multiple staff and complex contracts
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for Student Housing and Auxiliary Enterprises
• Align operations with institutional goals and timelines
• Oversee budgets, profit and loss, and performance metrics
