Job summary

RISD seeks an Assistant Vice President of Auxiliary Services to lead a diverse campus portfolio, aligning services with institutional priorities and student experiences. You will steer strategic planning, financial stewardship, and service delivery across multiple operations while building strong vendor relationships and sustainable practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, higher education administration, facilities or operations management.
Seven to ten years of progressively responsible leadership experience overseeing complex service-oriented operations.
Experience in higher education, hospitality, campus services, or similarly complex organizations is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and direction for RISD's Auxiliary Services portfolio.
Oversee budgets, forecasting, expenses, and performance metrics.
Drive revenue generation, partnerships, and service expansions.
Direct contracts, vendor relationships, and procurement processes.
Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and staff development.
Ensure regulatory compliance, risk management, and sustainability initiatives.
