Job summary

Howard University is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Enterprise Services and Operations to oversee Auxiliary Enterprises and Student Housing. The role drives policy, planning, and performance across multiple divisions in alignment with the university’s strategic priorities.

The AVP will supervise staff, manage budgets and contracts, and lead cross-divisional projects to improve efficiency, collaboration, and operational excellence in service of the university community.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree with a minimum of 10 years of work related experience.
• Demonstrated experience as a management executive in public and non-profit institutions of comparable size and complexity to Howard University.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for Student Housing and Auxiliary Enterprises divisions.
• Align operational priorities with institutional goals and budgets.
• Act as the VP’s representative in internal and external engagements when necessary.
• Provide oversight of projects and initiatives across the three divisions for coordination.
