Job summary

CVS Health in Woonsocket, RI, invites an AVP of Digital Engineering to shape Health100, our AI-native health platform. You will lead internal engineers, senior technical leaders, and vendor partners to deliver secure, scalable digital health solutions in a regulated environment.

This executive role requires deep technical credibility, strategic vision, and strong communication with product, AI and business stakeholders to drive ownership, engineering excellence, and rapid delivery.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering experience in regulated domains.
• 5+ years in senior engineering leadership roles.
• Experience delivering full-stack digital products at scale.
• Leading globally distributed teams and production operations.
• Strong full-stack fluency across frontend, backend and data layers.
• Hands-on agile delivery with data-informed decision making.
• Experience in financial management of large portfolios/cost centers.
• Executive-level communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience delivering AI-enabled software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end engineering delivery for Health100's digital health solutions.
• Drive agile delivery with short release cycles and pilot-first mindset.
• Define and evolve Health100 full-stack architecture (web, mobile, API, data pipelines).
• Ensure HIPAA compliance, PHI handling, and security embedded in engineering.
• Lead engineers, engineering managers and external vendors; manage partners.
