Seabury, Inc. is seeking Associate Vice President of Corporate Compliance to design, implement, and oversee an enterprise-wide compliance and risk management program across two Connecticut CCRCs.

This leader ensures adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, CARF-CCAC standards, and internal policies while promoting integrity across departments. The AVP oversees risk strategies tied to the organization’s captive insurance, including general liability and claims risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive healthcare or senior living compliance experience, with leadership responsibility.
• Familiarity with CCRCs and CARF-CCAC accreditation is strongly preferred.

Salary Range: $120,000.00 To $130,000.00 Annually

The Associate Vice President of Corporate Compliance is responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of a comprehensive, enterprise-wide compliance and risk management program across two Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) in Connecticut. This role ensures adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards (including CARF-CCAC), and internal policies, while fostering a culture of integrity and accountability across all departments.

The AVP also oversees compliance-related risk strategies tied to the organization’s designated insurance captives, including general liability (GL), claims risk management, and any other compliance required/related to Seabury insurances. Regular travel between two Connecticut CCRC campuses will be required as well as occasional evening or board meeting attendance.

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree (Healthcare Administration, Business, Legal, or related field) preferred.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in healthcare or senior living compliance, with leadership responsibility.
• Experience in CCRCs and/or CARF-CCAC accreditation strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with captive insurance programs and liability risk management is highly desirable.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Deep understanding of healthcare regulatory frameworks and compliance program design.
• Strong knowledge of CARF-CCAC standards and survey processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise-wide risk management initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and sound judgment.
