Arch Capital's Arch Construction Specialty Products unit seeks an Assistant Vice President to oversee day-to-day technical underwriting and account management for construction professional liability and pollution liability book. You will solicit and review risk information, price and propose terms, manage renewals, expand portfolio, and build broker relationships to meet profitability and retention goals.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training required.
• CPCU or other similar designation a plus.
• Ten plus years of construction professional liability/pollution liability underwriting experience.
• Established broker relationships.

Aufgaben

• Solicits and reviews new and renewal account information to evaluate a risk.
• Underwrites prices and prepares proposals based on objective and subject risk characteristics.
• Prepares final quotation/proposal and presents to producer and/or prospective insured.
• Quarterbacks post-bind activities and ensures delivery of promised service to customers.
• Renewal and retention management to achieve targeted retention and price-change goals.
• Drives portfolio pricing adequacy and profitability analyses.
• Develops and maintains relationships with producers and insureds to grow production and profitability.
