Job summary

Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Compliance & Operational Risk to lead enterprise-wide compliance and risk management efforts. The role partners with technology, lending, operations, and senior management to identify, assess, monitor, mitigate, and report risks impacting members and the organization.

Responsibilities include overseeing compliance programs, regulatory examinations, third-party risk, and business continuity, while maintaining a strong control

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management, or related field required.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in risk management, compliance, audit, lending, operations, finance, or regulatory oversight within a financial institution; credit union experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of federal/state regulatory requirements (e.g., BSA/AML, consumer compliance, privacy) and regulatory expectations; ability to interact with regulators and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supports enterprise-wide compliance and operational risk framework enhancements.
• Monitors regulatory changes and guides business units in implementing requirements.
• Leads third-party risk management, due diligence, and vendor oversight.
• Coordinates risk assessments, incident reviews, and reporting to management and Board.
