Job summary

Vantage Group Holdings Ltd. is seeking an AVP, Ceded Reinsurance to manage the execution of the company’s ceded reinsurance programs.

You will coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain accurate records and timely reports. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of ceded reinsurance experience, strong knowledge of treaty and facultative reinsurance, and excellent stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field required.
• 5–10 years of ceded reinsurance operations experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of treaty and facultative reinsurance, loss reserve calculations, and claims management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Ceded team in managing the execution of the company’s ceded reinsurance programs, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
• Maintain deep knowledge of ceded reinsurance arrangements, including policy terms, provisions, and claims processes for pre- and post-placement activities.
• Develop strong relationships with reinsurance brokers, business units, finance, legal, and other stakeholders for efficient execution of ceded reinsurance transactions.
• Ensure all ceded activities comply with regulatory requirements and proper documentation/reporting.
• Collaborate with reinsurance brokers throughout the placement lifecycle, including submission, market strategy, terms negotiation, contract review, and binding.
• Provide timely and accurate reports on ceded reinsurance activities and communicate documentation to internal stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor and identify opportunities to improve ceded reinsurance processes.
