Job summary

MetLife’s Global Technology team seeks an AVP of AI Orchestration to bridge enterprise AI strategy with actionable delivery across US Technology and business lines. You will accelerate adoption of AI platforms, govern risk, and coordinate with CIO-level stakeholders.

You will lead cross-functional teams, align leaders on priorities, and shape AI capabilities, tooling, and governance in a regulated financial services environment. Hybrid office presence is required.

• 10+ years of progressive technology leadership with measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive US Businesses enterprise AI adoption across planning, engineering, delivery, governance, and communications.
• Establish an enterprise AI capability catalog with tools, platforms, and reusable services.
• Lead a network of AI champions with playbooks, training, and workshops to scale usage.
• Define adoption metrics and demonstrate business impact for CIO and senior leaders.
• Partner on governance to set acceptable-use guardrails and human accountability in risk domains.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate to policy, controls and guidance.
• Drive platform strategy for AI tooling and vendor evaluation with the CIO.
• Embed AI across requirements, code generation, testing, and delivery workflows.
