Job summary

Deloitte's AI & Data practice seeks an Associate Vice President to lead engagements for Life Sciences clients, shaping scalable AI, data, and digital solutions across manufacturing and quality domains.

You will coordinate with business, product, architecture, and client teams, oversee budgeting and staffing, and mentor practitioners while contributing to go‑to‑market materials. This role requires a strong MES/QMS/LIMS/ERP/PLM background and a proven delivery track record.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise data architecture, data strategy, analytics, AI/ML, and digital transformation.
• 6+ years in Life Sciences/pharma manufacturing, quality, or operational transformation.
• 6+ years with MES/QMS/LIMS/ERP/PLM platforms.
• 4+ years leading complex technology engagements.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Data Science/AI.
• Ability to travel 50% on average.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
• Disclosed wage range: $171,600–$338,300.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI & Data engagements for Life Sciences clients focusing on manufacturing, quality, and digital operations transformation.
• Shape and deliver use cases such as process visibility, predictive insights, AI‑assisted quality analytics, and intelligent automation.
• Translate business needs into scalable AI, data, and digital solution designs.
• Collaborate across business, product, architecture, engineering, and client teams to support implementation and adoption.
• Oversee engagement planning, budgeting, staffing, and team mobilization for data and AI initiatives.
• Define deliverable structure and content; manage quality, timelines, economics, and engagement risk.
• Lead workshops, executive presentations, and stakeholder sessions.
• Mentor junior practitioners and contribute to practice and go‑to‑market development.
