Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; CPA or Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting or financial management experience, preferably in a financial institution.
• Ability to facilitate budgeting, prepare tax returns/reports, audits and oversee an accounting team.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, ASC, Power BI, compliance with Federal Bank Secrecy Act and Money Laundering rules required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain internal financial controls to mitigate risk, safeguard corporate assets and facilitate internal and external audits.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes for the organization.
• Supervise accounting staff and ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory requirements.

Position Description

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master's degree preferred.

Experience

• A minimum five (5) + years of progressive accounting or financial management experience required, preferred in a financial institution.
• Ability to facilitate budgeting, prepare tax returns/reports, audits and oversee an accounting team.
• Working robust knowledge of Microsoft Office, ASC, Power BI, Compliance with Federal Bank Secrecy Act and Money Laundering rules required.

• Required Availability: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. No Saturdays.
