Job summary

InTouch Credit Union in Plano, TX seeks an AVP of Accounting & Finance to lead the accounting function, oversee budgeting, audits, and regulatory compliance. The role demands strategic financial leadership within a not-for-profit community institution.

The AVP will manage a team, implement controls, ensure GAAP adherence, and drive reporting accuracy while supporting business growth and financial integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; CPA or Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting or financial management experience, preferably in a financial institution.
• Ability to facilitate budgeting, prepare tax returns/reports, audits and oversee an accounting team.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, ASC, Power BI, compliance with Federal Bank Secrecy Act and Money Laundering rules required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain internal financial controls to mitigate risk, safeguard corporate assets and facilitate internal and external audits.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes for the organization.
• Supervise accounting staff and ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory requirements.
