We are currently seeking an assistant manager (AVP) for our accounting department. This person will oversee reconcilements, accounts payable, general banking, controls, compliance and audit, and prepare journal entries, resolving errors and discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate reconciliation of all assigned ledgers, settlement and operational accounts.
• Oversee end-to-end AP process while monitoring AP metrics.
• Supervise accounting activities related to loans, deposits, accruals and investment securities portfolios.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the team.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, NCUA regulations, internal policies and accounting practices.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of similar or related experience.
