Overview

Alera Group is looking for a Customer Service Representative. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and Update Agency Records: Ensure the Activity List in the Agency Management System is accurate and up to date while maintaining thorough documentation of client interactions and transactions.
  • Process Cancellations and Reinstatements: Handle daily policy cancellations and reinstatements, ensuring timely and accurate processing while assisting with direct bill questions, issues, and reinstatements as needed.
  • Prepare and Distribute Insurance Documents: Generate and send Proof of Insurance documents, including Certificates of Insurance, Evidence of Property Insurance, Auto ID Cards, and FR19s, via mail or email per client and agency requests.
  • Manage Insurance Carrier Correspondence: Download and assign policies, renewals, endorsements, audits, recommendations, and other important notices from carrier websites to the appropriate Account Manager.
  • Support Agency Operations and Compliance: Provide backup support for receptionist and administrative tasks, coordinate with internal departments for smooth workflow, and ensure adherence to agency policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Education/Training – A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skill(s) – Self-motivated, proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient computer skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; visual and auditory skills; problem solving skills.
  • Experience - A minimum of one (1) years’ experience in related position(s) preferred.
Additional Information

This job requires presence in the office on a regionally remote schedule as agreed with the manager.
