Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Kent, WA is hiring to design, build, and commission electrical test equipment for the Blue Moon lunar lander program. You will develop data acquisition and control systems, manage parts procurement, and support installation and activation of test systems, contributing to safe human spaceflight.

The role requires a BS in electrical engineering and 2+ years in avionics testing, with hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, DMMs, power meters, and data acquisition cards; on-site

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in electrical engineering or related technical degree.
• 2+ years industry experience with avionics systems testing.
• Experience planning, executing, and reporting electronics testing of analog/digital/application.
• Ability to produce electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency in standard electronic lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power meters, data acquisition cards, etc).

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements, design, architecture, procurement, build, integration, and checkout of avionics test systems.
• Support a development environment with open box testing and card-to-card level testing.
• Create and release drawings of test hardware infrastructure, rack layouts, harnesses, breakout boxes/panels, power distribution, and grounding.
• Identify and procure equipment, and coordinate with technicians for build, assembly, and installation.
• Support integration of flight avionics, hardware, operator consoles, and test equipment to verify requirements and performance.
• Support checkout of avionics systems and troubleshooting of technical problems.
• Maintain configuration control of drawings and test system configuration.
