Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an avionics-focused technician for a permanent, on-site role in McLean, VA. The position requires 2+ years of F-16 avionics maintenance experience, including knowledge of F-16 avionics and the ability to perform on-aircraft tasks with manual dexterity. A Secret clearance is required, and military avionics schooling is a plus.

F-35 experience is a nice-to-have. The role emphasizes teamwork under supervision, guidance for junior staff, and hands-on fabrication and assembly of

• 2+ years of experience performing aircraft maintenance tasks as an avionics specialist on F-16 aircraft.
• Knowledge of F-16 Avionics.
• Ability to perform on-aircraft physical tasks and repetitive movements.
• Must possess Secret clearance or be eligible.
• HS diploma or GED required; Military Avionics Technical School graduate preferred.
• Nice to have: experience with F-35 avionics; knowledge of F-35 avionics.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
