Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Systems Integration Engineer to support the development, integration, and testing of advanced aircraft systems. The primary focus of this role is leading activities within the Systems Integration Lab (SIL), where the engineer will integrate hardware and electrical/electronic systems, execute system-level testing, troubleshoot issues, and verify that components operate successfully within the overall aircraft architecture.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in test procedures and electronic systems integration.
• Experience with system-level testing and avionics.
• Ability to use an oscilloscope and other test equipment.
• 5+ years of experience in hardware integration and electrical/electronic systems.
• Strong practical understanding of electrical and electronic hardware.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems using standard laboratory test equipment and engineering documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Aerospace, or a related field.
• Experience in developing and executing engineering test procedures and documenting test results.
• Experience integrating and troubleshooting hardware-intensive systems.

Work Environment

You will work directly with Electrical Engineers and lead the Systems Integration Lab (SIL). This role offers the opportunity to work with a small team and directly with multiple engineering disciplines. It also provides a chance to enhance technology that will be implemented directly by the Army. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Forest, CA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
