Job summary

Protingent in Kent, WA is seeking an Avionics Technician II for a direct hire. You will build components and assemblies for development, test and flight, collaborating with engineering to refine methods and ensure quality.

You will participate in safety-focused manufacturing, applying torque to fasteners, fabricating and testing wire harnesses, and supporting multiple systems to enable spaceflight programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Aerospace Avionics experience.
• Familiar with ESD EPA and tool-control processes.
• Experience with electronics assembly tools and basic test equipment.
• Experience inspecting and certifying work to relevant standards.
• Experience applying torque to fasteners/components.
• Experience fabricating, terminating, and testing wire harnesses.
• Experience with polymerics application/removal (staking, potting, encapsulation, conformal coating).
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to work a 40-hour week (4x10s) with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Build components and assemblies for development, test and flight.
• Assist with assembly by working with engineering on best practices.
• Provide input on manufacturing improvements for efficiency.
• Support internal and external customers across systems and platforms.
• Emphasize safety, teamwork and quality in all tasks.
• Apply torque to fasteners.
• Fabricate, terminate and test wire harnesses.
