Job summary

West Star Aviation is hiring an Avionics Maintenance Technician in Perryville, MO. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing avionics units and aircraft systems in a full-time, on-site capacity. Training and growth opportunities are emphasized, with benefits starting on day one.

Responsibilities include panel removal/installation, system evaluation, and collaboration with customers on projects. Strong communication and basic computer skills are required; a high school diploma and avionics

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Electronics or Avionics factory training is preferred.
A valid driver’s license for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair avionics units (Navs, Coms, Pulse, Radar, Audio, Autopilot) and aircraft systems.
Perform general avionics support items including removal/installation of panels and components and repair work.
Troubleshoot and evaluate systems on the aircraft; inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
Verify aircraft performance and systems; maintain and repair shop facilities and tooling.
Communicate effectively in English; basic computer skills to navigate training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
