Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Avionics Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair avionics units and aircraft systems. The role involves panel removal/installation, system evaluation, and close collaboration with customers on projects.

Candidates should have a high school diploma with electronics/avionics training preferred and 1+ years of avionics experience. Strong English communication and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; electronics or avionics training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and/or passport ideal but not mandatory.
• 1+ years of avionics repair or installations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general avionics support items on aircraft, including removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate avionics and aircraft systems.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
• Verify aircraft movement and system performance.
• Assist with project management, pricing and customer support.
• Work independently on projects and communicate in English.
• Navigate electronic training, manuals and maintenance databases.
