Job summary

West Star Aviation seeks an Avionics Install Technician in Grand Junction, CO. You will replace or repair avionics systems, troubleshoot electrical systems, and inspect aircraft while growing with a fast-growing MRO leader.

The role offers a path from Tech I to Master Technician; strong teamwork, adherence to FAA standards, and willingness to work overtime are required. Company provides comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; avionics/electronics training preferred.
• Experience levels Tech I–Tech III–Master Technician with progressive responsibilities in avionics or military avionics.
• Driver's license approved for travel and/or passport ideal but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Removal and installation of panels, components and interiors, and repair work on avionics installations.
• Stamp, bundle and install connectors on wiring.
• Removal of old wiring and installation of new wire bundles in aircraft.
• Troubleshooting and evaluation of avionics systems on the aircraft.
• Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components when designated.
• Work within a team process and independently on projects as required.
• Communicate effectively in English (speak, write, read).
• Perform duties in compliance with FAA guidelines and safety rules.
